MossIA and Bane NOR in appeal court

MossIA and Bane NOR are appearing before the appeal court (lagmannsrett), reports Moss Avis on 19 October. The second-instance hearing follows a first-instance ruling; the appeal court is to re-examine the case.

Bane NOR is the public company responsible for Norwegian railway infrastructure. The Østfold lines serve Moss, Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and Halden, among others. The dispute therefore pits MossIA against the network operator, though Moss Avis's 19 October edition does not detail the exact subject of the case or the hearing date.

At the national level, The Local Norway reports that the train strike in Norway has ended after one month. The action affected rail traffic for several weeks; no link is established by the sources with the case being heard in Moss.
